IRVING, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today Vizient ® announced a $1 billion investment over the next four years in the expertise, products, and solutions that help healthcare organizations improve performance. The investment, announced last night at the annual Vizient Connections Summit, will support enhancements to existing solutions and the development of new technologies designed around client needs to help healthcare organizations improve their clinical, operational, supply chain, and financial performance.
One of the latest updates is Vizient Edge, the company’s new intelligent orchestration platform, bringing enterprise-wide data, analytics, AI, and expertise to healthcare leaders. The platform helps users identify performance improvement opportunities and measure results across growth strategy, clinical quality, operational, reimbursement, and supply chain functions.

Reimagined and rebuilt on the foundation of the Operational Data Base (ODB), Operational Intelligence advances operational benchmarking with AI-assisted data preparation, guided analytics and actionable intelligence, helping healthcare leaders quickly identify opportunities, understand performance drivers and act with confidence.
Summit will also showcase Strategy Intelligence, the next evolution of Sg2 EDGE, helping healthcare leaders identify growth opportunities, evaluate tradeoffs, and move confidently from insight to action. It combines claims, market demand, growth forecasts, and Vizient’s expert research and proprietary frameworks, with AI that synthesizes intelligence and accelerates strategic decision-making.
