Licensed German bank consolidates its SEPA Instant payments on ACI Connetic, the cloud-native platform that brings payments processing, orchestration, fraud prevention and payments intelligence together in one system

The milestone marks the successful completion of the first phase of Solaris' payments modernization initiative. By consolidating its SEPA Instant payments infrastructure onto ACI Connetic, Solaris has strengthened its ability to scale, innovate and adapt in a rapidly evolving payments landscape.
It paves the way for the continued modernization of Solaris' payments infrastructure, as Solaris expands its adoption of ACI Connetic as part of its long-term transformation strategy.
Instant is now the baseline for euro payments. Under the EU Instant Payments Regulation, payment service providers in the eurozone must receive instant credit transfers, send them at no higher price than a standard transfer, and offer a check of the payee’s name against the account before the payer authorizes a transfer. That turns SEPA Instant from a premium service into everyday volume that runs around the clock and settles in seconds, with fraud checks done inside the same window. ACI Connetic handles that load in one cloud-native architecture that combines payments processing, fraud prevention, payments intelligence and orchestration, so a bank can add capacity and new services without stitching separate systems together.
Solaris holds a full German banking license and runs accounts, cards, lending and payments for fintechs, digital brands and multinationals that build financial products into their own customer experiences. Those partners count on Solaris to move money on their behalf, which makes instant payments part of what they buy from it. Solaris selected ACI Connetic as the foundation of its payments modernization strategy.
