Inc. ranking follows exceptional revenue growth and strategic acquisitions across banking operations modernization, digital connectivity and data intelligence
PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kinective, the company delivering intelligent banking to over 4,300 banks and credit unions every day, has ranked 766 on the Inc. 5000 list—the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States. With exceptional revenue growth since 2022 driven by organic expansion and multiple acquisitions, Kinective now serves nearly one in every two U.S. financial institutions while achieving a 98% client retention rate.

The Kinective Banking Platform has the intelligence and power to impact every department across every institution it serves. Kinective’s technology automates the document workflows that power transactions, modernizes branch experiences and surfaces AI-fueled insights that deepen customer relationships and expand share of wallet. The platform currently integrates with more than 40 core banking systems and 100 fintech and hardware solutions—allowing data to flow seamlessly across previously disconnected systems.
"Three years ago, we set out to build a platform that didn't exist for community banks and credit unions: one that modernizes operations, connects the enterprise and activates data,” said Stephen Baker, CEO of Kinective. “Today, that platform incorporates a sophisticated yet secure AI layer woven into the architecture that unlocks capabilities our clients and the market have never had available before. Our top 20% ranking on the Inc. 5000, alongside a 98% client retention rate, represent meaningful milestones as we continue to lead the industry into this new AI-driven era of intelligent banking."
Multiple Strategic Acquisitions, One Intelligent Banking Platform
Kinective made several strategic acquisitions over the past two years. Each acquisition builds on the infrastructure, connectivity and intelligence layers that make intelligent banking possible and AI meaningful for community banks and credit unions.
Modernizing Operations
Nexus Software (July 2024), ESQ Data Solutions (August 2025) and Compuflex (November 2025) extended the platform's eSignature, cash automation, ATM management capabilities and branch device integrations, giving financial institutions visibility and control across their entire cash ecosystems—from teller recyclers to ATMs. Combined, Kinective now monitors more than 1 million cash devices globally.
At Chelsea State Bank (CSB), based in Chelsea, Michigan, Kinective's Cash Automation solution eliminated costly dual-entry practices and empowered staff to focus on high-value advisory conversations instead of time-consuming manual tasks.
“We were impressed by how quickly we could see the benefits of the system,” said Bill Bacon, VP and director of retail banking and cash management solutions at CSB. “The integration with our Jack Henry Silverlake platform was seamless. Kinective delivered on that promise from day one, and we felt comfortable with their approach early in the process. The entire situation gave us confidence for future technology rollouts.”
With the addition of Epic River (May 2025), Kinective expanded its eSignature workflow capabilities and added digital notary services.
At Hughes Federal Credit Union, based in Tucson, Arizona, Kinective’s integrated eSignatures and document workflow automation helped reduce loan processing time from three weeks to two hours and saved the institution more than $100,000 a year.
Connecting the Enterprise
Janusea (July 2025) strengthened the platform's API integration layer, making it easier for institutions to integrate new technologies and solutions. Kinective’s turnkey API integration platform, Gateway, also eliminates the complexities of core integration for fintechs like PayNearMe, alleviating the burden of building individual APIs while ensuring secure, comprehensive and supported connectivity.
“Through our partnership with Kinective Gateway, we’ve accelerated our ability to bring Payment Experience Management to thousands of financial institutions," said Bruce Gaskill, senior director of integration partnerships at PayNearMe. "With PayXM now easily integrated into core banking systems, financial institutions can transform every touchpoint in the payment journey to reduce operational overhead and deliver a modern, member-first experience.”
Activating Data and Intelligence
Datava (April 2025) advanced Kinective's data strategy with AI-driven data activation, predictive analytics and modelling that delivers actionable intelligence in the moment. OrboGraph (March 2026) added AI-powered check fraud detection with more than 99% recognition accuracy and fraud detection in over 95% of attempts. Together, these acquisitions help Kinective activate data across the institution, turning disconnected information into actionable insights and stronger fraud detection.
As a result of its continued success, Kinective was also shortlisted for two 2026 Banking Tech Awards, with Baker named a finalist for Visionary CEO and Kinective Data Intelligence recognized as “Highly Commended” by more than 30 judges for the Best AI Solution (Data Insights and Knowledge Management) category.
Kinective's second annual user conference, Kinections26, will take place Nov. 15-17 at the Omni Nashville Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee. The company will unveil the next generation of its intelligent banking platform, enriched with a new layer of intelligence woven throughout, designed to solve challenges in key functional areas that banks and credit unions face every day.
