Sager Electronics named Electronic Distributor of the Year, DigiKey receives e-Catalog Distributor of the Year and Exceptional Growth Award
HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aratas America LLC (Aratas), formerly OMRON Electronic Components, announced that Sager Electronics has been named its 2025 Electronic Distributor of the Year and DigiKey as its 2025 e-Catalog Distributor of the Year, recognizing both companies' exceptional performance, customer commitments, and partnership throughout Aratas’ 2025 fiscal year. The awards were presented during the 2026 EDS Leadership Summit in Las Vegas.
Aratas’ annual distributor awards recognize partners that demonstrate excellence across key performance metrics, including sales growth, customer growth, collaborative marketing initiatives, and overall partnership. The awards celebrate the distributors that help expand access to Aratas technologies while delivering outstanding customer support across North America.
Sager Electronics was recognized for its consistent execution and dedication to delivering value to customers through strong sales performance, collaborative marketing efforts, and long-term partnership with Aratas.

As part of these recognitions, Aratas made a $5,000 charitable donation on DigiKey’s behalf to the Inter-County Community Council, a Minnesota-based nonprofit that connects residents with essential services, resources, and opportunities, and the Thief River Falls Area Food Shelf, which provides food assistance to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity in northwest and north central Minnesota.
