CyberPower Smart App Online UPS System Earns 2026 ESX Innovation Award

Recognized for excellence in the electronic security and life safety industry

SHAKOPEE, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--#CyberPower--Cyber Power Systems (USA), Inc., a leader in power protection and power management products, announced today its OL1K5RTHD Smart App Online UPS (uninterruptible power supply) system was named a 2026 ESX Innovation Award winner in the Structured Cabling, Connectivity and Power Supplies segment by the Electronic Security Association (ESA).

The awards were announced at ESA’s 2026 Electronic Security Expo (ESX) in Dallas-Ft. Worth, and recognize excellence and innovation within the electronic security and life safety industry. Selected by an independent panel of industry experts, the ESX Innovation Awards honor next-gen products, technologies, and services that advance the industry and provide meaningful growth opportunities for integrators, dealers, and monitoring professionals.

The 2026 recognition marks CyberPower’s second ESX Innovation Award for its UPS systems. “We are excited to again receive this recognition by ESA given the association’s extensive representation of installers, integrators and other providers in the industry,” said Jake Shevik, senior product manager at CyberPower. “This award reflects the industry’s appreciation for innovative technology to safeguard truly mission-critical servers, networking equipment and other electronics with seamless power protection.”

The CyberPower Smart App Online UPS product line features online double-conversion topology, which converts incoming AC power to DC, and back to AC with zero transfer time, providing reliable power protection for mission-critical applications. The product lineup is CyberPower’s first UPS family with individual outlet control, allowing users to program, schedule or remotely control the power supply to different devices. “Ultimately, users have greater flexibility to remotely manage power, such as prioritizing critical loads during outages, to improve uptime,” Shevik said.

The OL1K5RTHD Smart App UPS system provides 1500 VA/1350 Watts of power capacity in a high-density 2U rackmount form factor with easy monitoring enabled by a multi-function color TFT (thin-film transistor) LCD screen.
