Inkit Marks Its Most Successful DAFITC to Date, Expanding Connections Across the Defense Technology Community

Inkit connected with the Department of the Air Force and industry leaders at DAFITC 2026 and will continue the conversation at Creative Disruptors By The Lakes this September.

ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Inkit, the secure File Intelligence Platform for organizations that need full control over their document lifecycle, celebrated a successful appearance at the 2026 Department of the Air Force Information Technology and Cyberpower Training and Education Event (DAFITC), held August 24–26 in Montgomery, Alabama.

DAFITC brought together more than 4,000 attendees, speakers, and exhibitors to explore how data, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies are shaping the future of national defense. This year’s theme, “Accelerating the Digital Edge: From Enterprise to Orbit,” emphasized the need for resilient, connected, and modern technology across Department of the Air Force operations.

Inkit Builds New Connections at DAFITC

Representing Inkit at the event were Maddie Weldon, Director of Sales, and Ben Kett, Vice President of Engineering. Together, they connected with government and industry professionals, shared Inkit’s approach to secure document workflows, and discussed how organizations can reduce the friction created by disconnected document systems.

Throughout the conference, the Inkit team welcomed attendees at its booth, distributed branded swag, and hosted a raffle that encouraged new conversations and opportunities to continue discussions beyond the event.

“This was our most successful DAFITC to date,” said Maddie Weldon, Director of Sales at Inkit. “Ben and I had the opportunity to connect with people from across the defense technology community and hear directly about the document challenges their teams face. The conversations reinforced the need for secure, connected systems that help teams move critical work forward.”

Continuing the Conversation This Fall

Those who were unable to connect with Inkit at DAFITC will have another opportunity this fall. Inkit will be in attendance at Creative Disruptors By The Lakes, hosted by the Creative Defense Foundation, September 18–19 in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Inkit qualified for an exhibitor booth and will participate in the event’s social programming, creating additional opportunities to connect with leaders across the defense, technology, and innovation communities. Attendees are invited to visit the Inkit booth, meet the team, and learn how Inkit simplifies secure, document-driven work.
