Recognition highlights Euna’s expanding collaboration with AWS to advance cloud modernization and AI innovation for the public sector

The award highlights Euna Solutions’ expanding work with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to accelerate innovation and advance its technology roadmap. The collaboration is already helping Euna move AI solutions from early development to customer-ready capabilities, while the company explores broader opportunities to use AWS cloud services to strengthen reporting and analytics and support deeper integration of Euna AI across its solutions.
The AWS Champions Awards, curated by the Center for Digital Government and Center for Digital Education (CDG/CDE), recognize AWS customers using cloud technologies to address complex challenges and improve outcomes across the public sector and education. In 2025, Euna Solutions was named an AWS Champion for its use of generative AI to simplify and modernize public sector procurement.

From AI Concept to Customer-Ready Feature

The broader modernization initiative is still in its early stages, with the effort expected to evolve over the next year. One early example is Euna Budget’s AI Search, an AI-powered feature, for Euna’s OpenBook budget book platform.
In December 2025, AWS led a two-day, hands-on workshop with the OpenBook development team. During the session, the team moved from an initial idea to a working proof of concept that ultimately became the foundation for OpenBook AI Search.
The feature allows residents and council members to ask plain-language questions about a government budget book and receive immediate answers with citations to the underlying information. Within months, the proof of concept became a customer-ready capability available to Euna Budget customers.
The project demonstrates the development approach Euna plans to apply to future initiatives: combining AWS technology and expertise with Euna’s public sector domain knowledge to move promising ideas into practical capabilities more quickly.
Euna’s broader modernization work with AWS remains in its early stages and is expected to evolve over the coming year, including potential applications across analytics, reporting and AI-enabled workflows.
