Collaboration combines ACES’ regional deployment expertise with Movandi’s mmWave, RFIC and beamforming technologies
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia and IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--#5G--Advanced Communications and Electronic Systems Company (ACES) and Movandi, the semiconductor and systems connectivity company powering intelligent wireless infrastructure, today announced a strategic partnership, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during LEAP 2026 in Riyadh, to advance the development, validation and commercialization of next-generation 5G and future 6G wireless technologies.
The collaboration combines ACES’ local R&D capabilities in local development of 5G small cells, Open RAN, RF front-end and antenna technologies, digital platforms, and next-generation 5G and 6G systems with Movandi’s mmWave RF, antenna, beamforming and semiconductor technologies. ACES’ R&D has already locally developed its O-RAN compliant shareable 5G small cell solution in Saudi Arabia, demonstrating its growing product-development capabilities and commitment to technology localization. Together, the companies aim to advance the development, validation and commercialization of mmWave connectivity, O-RAN, small cells and advanced RF technologies.

- Joint R&D, field validation and proof-of-concept deployments
- Commercialization and business development across Saudi Arabia, the broader Middle East and global markets
