ReSpark Completes Acquisition of UptimePM

Equipment maintenance and facility management platform to be rebranded as ReSpark Maintenance, extending the ReSpark platform for metal recyclers

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ReSpark, the definitive software platform for the metal recycling industry, announced it has completed its acquisition of UptimePM, the maintenance and facility management software built for heavy industrial operations. Building on the strategic investment and partnership the two companies announced in 2024, UptimePM is now a wholly owned part of ReSpark and will be rebranded as ReSpark Maintenance.

UptimePM’s software helps operators keep critical equipment running — managing work orders, preventive maintenance, inspections, and parts inventory across facilities where downtime is measured in real dollars. Since the original partnership in 2024, UptimePM has doubled both its revenue and its customer count, validating the demand for purpose-built maintenance software in metal recycling and adjacent heavy industries.

The acquisition follows the April 2026 combination of GreenSpark and ReMatter that formed ReSpark, which today serves more than 1,200+ locations around the world. ReSpark Maintenance will operate as a complementary product alongside the core ReSpark platform, giving recyclers a single partner for the systems that run their yards — from buying and selling material to keeping the equipment that processes it online.

“I’m thrilled to complete this combination,” said Gordon Driscoll, CEO and Co-Founder of ReSpark. “Coming off the GreenSpark and ReMatter merger, we are uniquely positioned to integrate the UptimePM customer base successfully and without disruption — we’ve spent the past few quarters building exactly that muscle. Strategically, this is the logical first step after the merger: continuing to consolidate the products our industry relies on into the most complete software platform for metal recyclers.”

“For UptimePM customers, nothing changes today,” Driscoll added. “Going forward, they should expect a level of innovation and support in keeping with ReSpark’s broader mission — one that will help set the standard for maintenance and facility management in metal recycling.”

Justin Trentadue, Founder of UptimePM, will remain with the company for the foreseeable future to ensure a successful transition for the UptimePM customer base.

“I couldn’t be more excited to be part of the broader ReSpark business,” said Trentadue. “When we first partnered in 2024, I knew this was the right avenue for UptimePM — the team, the platform, and the commitment to this industry made that clear from day one. Completing the acquisition lets us deliver on that vision for our customers at a scale we couldn’t have reached alone.”
